Grittibänz, Grättimaa, Elggermaa: The name may vary from canton to canton, but the basic ingredients are always the same. Flour, sugar, milk, yeast, butter, a pinch of salt – stir all the ingredients, shape, bake and the delicious bread roll that is traditionally eaten on Saint Nicholas Day is ready.
