500g raw sauerkraut
1kg pork shoulder
2dl white wine
2dl water
4 juniper berries
salt and pepper to taste

How it's done

Place the sauerkraut in a wide pan, sit the pork shoulder on top. Pour in the wine and water, add the juniper berries, cover and cook over a medium heat for approx. 2 hrs., season.
