Bases

1 puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle

Sauce

200g Appenzeller cheese, coarsely grated
100g Gruyère, coarsely grated
1tbsp white flour
1dl full cream
1 ½dl milk
2 fresh eggs
¼tsp salt
a little nutmeg
Purchase ingredients now

Utensils

8 ovenproof mini tart tins (each approx. 8 cm in diameter), greased

How it's done

Bases

Cut out 8 pastry circles (each approx. 12 cm in diameter), transfer to the prepared tins. Prick the bases firmly with a fork, briefly refrigerate.

Sauce

Mix the cheese with all the remaining ingredients, spread on top of the pastry.

To bake

Approx. 30 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 180°C.
