Sauce

200 g crème fraîche
3 tbsp mayonnaise
3 gherkins, cut into cubes
1 hard-boiled egg, coarsely chopped
½ bunch parsley, finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Meat patties

300 g minced meat (beef)
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
½ bunch flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
½ tsp salt

Bacon patties

300 g minced meat (beef)
80 g diced bacon
1 red onion, finely chopped
1 egg
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 ½ tbsp mustard
½ tsp salt

To fry

oil for frying
2 breaded vegetarian schnitzel (each approx. 100 g)
3 cheese slices (e.g. cheddar)

Burger party

8 burger buns
1 baby lettuce, leaves removed
2 tomatoes, in slices
150 g kohlrabi, very thinly sliced
½ bunch flat-leaf parsley, leaves torn off

Sauce

In a bowl, mix the crème fraîche with all the other ingredients up to and including the parsley, season, cover, and set aside.

Meat patties

In a bowl, mix the meat with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt, knead well until you have a compact mass. With wet hands, shape the mixture into 3 burgers, flatten a little.

Bacon patties

In a bowl, mix the meat with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt, knead well until you have a compact mass. With wet hands, shape the mixture into 3 burgers, flatten a little.

To fry

Heat a dash of oil in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the patties and escalopes in batches for approx. 3 mins. on each side. Remove, keep warm. Place one slice of cheese on each meat patty and heat briefly.

Burger party

Cut the buns in half crosswise, spread the reserved sauce over the cut surfaces. Place the lettuce leaves and all other ingredients on the bottom half of the buns, place 1 patty or escalope on each, cover with the top half of the buns.
