These puff pastry muffins are super quick to make and can be prepared in advance. When your guests arrive, simply pop the muffins in the oven and you'll be able to have your canapés on the table – fresh from the oven – in a matter of minutes.

Dough

1 puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle (approx. 25 x 42 cm)
2 tbsp black sesame seeds

Filling

12 slice cured ham
18 piece Tomme cheese, approx. 30 g each
9 sprig rosemary, cut in half

Bake for approx. 18 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200°C.

1 tbsp liquid honey
salt and pepper to taste

Utensils

Two 12-hole muffin tins (each hole approx. 7 cm in diameter), 9 lined with muffin cases

Dough

Roll out the dough, brush with a little water, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Turn the dough onto a sheet of baking paper, remove the upper sheet of baking paper.

Filling

Top the dough with the cured ham, cut into 18 squares. Place a piece of cheese on each square, place carefully in the prepared tin. Insert the rosemary into the cheese.

Bake for approx. 18 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200°C.

Remove from the oven, drizzle with honey, season, serve lukewarm.

Tip: Make your own muffin cases out of baking paper.
