2 star anise
2 cardamom pods, crushed
½ vanilla pod, cut lenghtwise, seeds scratched out
4 bags black tea

Iced tea

some ice cubes
2 dl full-cream milk
5 tbsp sweetened condensed milk

How it's done

Bring the water to the boil along with the star anise, cardamom, vanilla pod and vanilla seeds. Add the tea bags, remove the pan from the heat, leave to steep for approx. 10 mins. Remove the tea bags, leave the tea and spices to cool, chill for at least 2 hrs.

Iced tea

Place the ice cubes in glasses, pour the tea through a sieve. Combine the regular milk with the condensed milk, pour into the glasses, stir and serve.

Good to know
Prepare: The tea can be made approx. 1 day in advance. Cover and keep in the fridge. Add the ice cubes and milk mixture just before serving.
