Brownie mixture
To bake
Utensils
One brownie tin (approx. 24 × 24 cm), lined with baking paper.
How it's done
Brownie mixture
Melt the butter in a pan. Add the chocolate and stir to melt, allow to cool slightly. Using the whisk on a mixer, whisk the eggs, sugar, chocolate powder and orange zest until light and fluffy, stir in the melted chocolate. Mix in the nuts, transfer the mixture to the prepared tin, smooth down. Sprinkle with chocolate powder.
To bake
Approx. 25 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180°C. The brownies should still be gooey inside. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, cut the brownies into diamonds while still warm in the tin, leave the brownies to cool in the tin. Remove the brownies from the tin, place on a sheet of baking paper, dust with chocolate powder.
