1tbsp olive oil
1tbsp sugar
250g blue and white seedless grapes, halved if necessary
¼tsp salt
2tbsp white wine vinegar


400g rye bread, cut into 8 slices approx. 2 cm thick
2tbsp olive oil
125g cream cheese
some tarragon leaves

How it's done


Heat the oil in a pan. Add the sugar, dissolve for approx. 3 mins. Sauté the grapes. Add the salt and vinegar, reduce the resulting liquid almost completely.


Brush the bread with oil, toast the bread in batches in a non-stick frying pan for approx. 2 mins. on each side. Spread with the cream cheese, top with the grapes and tarragon leaves.

Good to know
Tip: Mix the finely grated horseradish into the cream cheese.
