This creamy almond porridge is incredibly satisfying and will give you the energy you need to make it through the day. The warm berries on top not only dissolve beautifully into the porridge but will also melt your heart!

How it's done
Bring the water, almond milk and salt to the boil. Add the rolled oats, bring to the boil, reduce the heat, cook over a medium heat for approx. 5 mins., stirring occasionally. Stir in the almond butter, vanilla paste and honey, turn off the hob. Stir in the remainder of the almond milk. Divide the porridge into 2 bowls.
Bring the berries, water and maple syrup to the boil, reduce the heat, cook over a medium heat for approx. 3 mins. until the berries are soft, then mash with a fork. Top the porridge with the berries.
Top with the figs, scatter the granola over the top and drizzle with the maple syrup.
