200g pasta (e.g. farfalle)
salted water, boiling


2tbsp white balsamic vinegar
1tbsp lemon juice
3tbsp olive oil
½bunch basil, finely chopped
¼tsp salt
a little pepper

Cured ham

90g cured ham, thinly sliced

Salad in a jar

250g different coloured cherry tomatoes, halved
120g mozzarella cheese balls
1 charentais melon, thinly sliced, cut into thirds
2 baby lettuce, shredded
½bunch basil, leaves torn off

4 preserving jars, each approx. 500 ml

How it's done


Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, drain.


Whisk together the balsamic, lemon juice and oil, mix in the basil, season. Mix the dressing with the pasta, leave to cool.

Cured ham

Without adding any oil, fry the cured ham in a frying pan until crispy, allow to cool slightly, crumble.

Salad in a jar

Mix the pasta and cherry tomatoes with the remaining ingredients, transfer to the jars, top with the cured ham just before serving.
