Lemon vodka

5 lemons, rinsed with hot water, dabbed dry
7dl vodka


3dl water
350g sugar

How it's done

Lemon vodka

Finely grate the zest of the lemons, cut off as much of the white part as possible. Add the lemon zest to a bottle and fill with vodka. Cover and leave in a dark, cool place for at least 10 days.


Bring the water and sugar to the boil in a pan, leave to cool. Drain off the lemon vodka, mix with the sugar syrup. Rinse out the bottle, fill the limoncello into the bottle.

Shelf life: Seal tightly and keep in the fridge for approx. 2 months
