Garlic oil

3 garlic cloves
2tbsp sesame oil
2tbsp olive oil

Hummus

1tin chickpeas (approx. 400 g), rinsed, drained
1tbsp lemon juice
½tsp ground cumin
¾tsp salt
a little pepper
Purchase ingredients now

How it's done

Garlic oil

Place the garlic and oil in a small pan (the garlic should be approx. 1/2 covered), heat gently, fry the garlic until golden brown. Leave the garlic to cool in the oil.

Hummus

Place the chickpeas and remaining ingredients in a blending cup, add the garlic oil and very finely puree.

Good to know
Tip: for a particularly smooth and creamy hummus, first remove the skins from the chickpeas.
Serve with: pomegranate seeds
