Super-quick cake mixture

150g white flour
150g sugar
40g cocoa powder
1tsp baking powder
1pinch salt
3 eggs
120g butter, melted
3tbsp espresso, cold
1dl cream
6 chocolate sticks (approx. 23 g each)

To bake

icing sugar to dust

One loaf tin measuring approx. 20 cm, lined with baking paper

How it's done

Super-quick cake mixture

In a bowl, mix the flour with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt. Add the eggs, butter, espresso and cream, mix well. Transfer the cake mixture to the prepared tin.

Press the chocolate bars into the cake mixture.

To bake

Approx. 45 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 180°C. Remove the cake from the oven, allow to cool a little, remove from the tin and leave to cool on a rack. Dust the cake with icing sugar.

Shelf life: Wrap in cling film and keep in the fridge for approx. 3 days.
