The holidays and cosy hours with your loved ones are just around the corner. We're already so excited and have put together a festive table arrangement with winter accents just for you. The arrangement, which comprises fir branches, pomegranates and golden candlestick holders, will get all of your guests in the party mood.
Silent night, holy night … oh how we love Christmas. What's better than spending time with those you love? And FOOBY has some wonderful recipes for a delicious Christmas Eve. We'll show you how to create an unforgettable atmosphere with just a handful of ingredients (that you're bound to already have in your cupboard), a couple of fir branches and several preserving jars. Your lovingly prepared meal will taste even better on a beautifully decorated Christmas table.
We love deep greens in winter – and fir branches can be found everywhere. In keeping with tradition, we have also incorporated red. The pomegranates look very pretty whole or sliced in half. We love this combination, not to mention the fact that the table decorations are edible. We have added a couple of golden candlestick holders with long black candles.
If you have children, fill several preserving jars one third full with icing sugar and insert Christmas cookies and sprigs of rosemary to create a snowy winter landscape. You don't always need a snow globe to wow the youngsters.
We've done without a tablecloth because we love the rustic look of the wooden table. But we have made the serviettes look pretty instead. They add a wonderful accent and grab people's attention.
Complete with a little fir branch, cinnamon sticks and pretty bow, the serviette resembles a present on the plate. Alternatively: Tie a name tag and Christmas cookie to the serviette using a piece of string. Before baking, remember to make a little hole in the cookie through which to tie the string later.
Be sure to light all of the candles before the guests arrive to create a warm atmosphere. Simply put on some beautiful Christmas music and you have all the makings of a cosy get-together.
