Noodles

125 g ramen noodles
salted water, boiling

Sauce

1 tbsp peanut oil
300 g leek, cut into thin slices
2 garlic cloves, squeezed
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp Gochujang paste (chili paste)

Meat

1 tbsp peanut oil
250 g beef strips (à la minute)
¼ tsp salt

How it's done

Noodles

Cook the ramen noodles in simmering water for approx. 3 mins. until just al dente, set aside approx. 250 ml of the cooking water, drain the noodles.

Sauce

Heat the oil in a pan. Add the leek and garlic, sauté for approx. 5 mins. Add the soy sauce and Gochujang paste with the reserved cooking water, mix, bring to the boil.

Meat

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the meat, fry for approx. 2 mins. Remove, season the meat with salt, add to the sauce along with the noodles, heat gently.
