As the weather begins to warm up, so does our desire for refreshing meals and snacks. Smoothies are perfect for satisfying little hunger pangs between meals. They are nutritious, refreshing, healthy, incredibly versatile and come in thousands of different combinations. If the fruit is sufficiently ripe, you shouldn't even need to add sweeteners. If not, simply add a couple of teaspoons of sugar or a sweetener of your choice for an utterly delicious smoothie. They also make an ideal snack for kids, ensuring that they eat more fruit throughout the day.
