Pastry dough

1 puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle (approx. 24 x 45 cm)
80 g almond paste, cut into pieces

Topping

650 g apricots, cut in half
25 g butter, cut into pieces
2 tbsp coarse cane sugar
50 g almond slivers

To decorate

icing sugar, to dust

Utensils

One baking tray, approx. 20 x 35 cm

How it's done

Pastry dough

Roll out the dough, place in the tray along with the baking paper, cover with the almond paste.

Topping

Arrange the apricots on top of the dough. Top with the butter, sugar and almonds.

To bake

Approx. 30 mins. on the bottom shelf of an oven preheated to 220°C. Remove the flan from the oven.

To decorate

Dust the flan with icing sugar.

Good to know
Tip: This flan tastes best fresh.
Tip: Use plums instead of apricots.
