Mulled wine

7 ½ dl white wine (e.g. Chardonnay)
2 ½ dl apple juice
2 ½ tbsp liquid honey
½ tsp cinnamon
1 organic lemon, zest peeled with a peeler

To serve

1 apple, in slices

How it's done

Mulled wine

Pour the wine into a pan along with all the other ingredients up to and including the lemon zest, bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat, cover and leave to stand for approx. 10 mins.

To serve

Reheat the mulled wine, strain, pour into glasses and decorate with the apple slices.

Good to know
Tip: Add 3 small sprigs of thyme, 1 star anise and 1 cinnamon stick and bring to the boil with the wine.
