Karma vegetable balls in pitta pockets
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 1 pack | Karma Gemüsebällchen (200 g) |
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| 4 | pita breads |
| 200 g | sour single cream |
| 5 tbsp | ketchup |
| 2 tbsp | mayonnaise |
| 1 tsp | lemon juice |
| ½ tsp | chilli powder |
| salt and pepper to taste | |
| 2 | tomatoes, cut into cubes |
| 100 g | iceberg lettuce, cut into strips |
How it's done
Heat the oil in a frying pan, brown the vegetable balls for approx. 3 mins. and remove. Toast the pitta breads in the same pan on both sides for approx. 1 min. each side, then halve lengthways. Mix together the sour half cream, ketchup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chilli powder, salt and pepper. Divide the salad, tomatoes, sauce and vegetable balls into the pitta breads and serve.
