Grilled jumbo prawns
Ingredients
for 4 person
1 | lime, the whole juice |
2 tbsp | sesame oil |
1 tsp | dark soy sauce |
1 bunch | peppermint, finely chopped |
1 | red chilli pepper, deseeded, finely chopped |
1 tsp | sugar |
12 | peeled raw prawn tails (organic) (approx. 450 g), insides removed |
¾ | salt |
1 | lime, rinsed with hot water, dabbed dry, cut into wedges |
How it's done
Mix together the lime juice and all the ingredients up to and including the chilli pepper. Halve the marinade, stir the sugar into one half and set aside as the sauce. Brush the prawns with the remaining seasoning mix, salt.
Grill over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C for approx. 2 mins. each side.
