Glazed Brussels sprouts with maple syrup
Ingredients
for 4 people
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| 500 g | Brussels sprouts *-* |
| 1 | garlic clove, thinly sliced |
| 50 g | smoked almonds |
| 1 dl | water |
| 1 tbsp | maple syrup |
| ½ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
How it's done
Brussels sprouts
Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Add the Brussels sprouts and stir fry for approx. 5 mins. Reduce the heat, add the garlic and smoked almonds, stir fry for approx. 2 mins. Add the water and maple syrup, cover and simmer gently for approx. 5 mins. Plate up the sprouts, season.
