Canapés with Camembert and caraway seeds
Ingredients
for 8 pieces
| 150 g | baguettes, cut into 8 slices |
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| 125 g | Camembert |
| 1 tbsp | liquid honey |
| ¾ tsp | caraway seeds, crushed |
| 1 tin | anchovy fillet (approx. 50 g), rinsed, drained |
| 2 pinch | chilli flakes |
| 1 | organic lemon, use a little grated zest and 1 tsp of juice |
| 1 | garlic clove, cut in half |
| ½ tsp | liquid honey |
How it's done
Bread
Place the bread slices on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil.
To bake
Approx. 5 mins. in the upper half of an oven preheated to 220 °C. Remove, allow to cool slightly.
Camembert
Crush the cheese on a plate using a fork, place in a bowl. Add the honey and caraway seeds, mix.
Anchovies
Place the anchovy fillets, chilli, lemon zest and juice in a bowl, mix carefully.
To serve
Rub the slices of bread with garlic. Top with the Camembert mixture and anchovies, drizzle with honey.
