Melon iced matcha latte

Melons not only go well with matcha in terms of colour, they also gives the trendy drink from Japan a fresh, summery flavour. The frozen melon balls cool the drink down and turn it into an unforgettable drinking experience.

Ingredients

for 9 dl

Melon
Galia melon, peeled
To puree
5 dl oat drink
2 tsp matcha powder
1 tsp rice syrup, as desired

How it's done

Melon

Halve the melon, remove the seeds, scoop out 12 balls using a melon baller. Cover and freeze the melon balls for approx. 2 hrs. Cut the remaining melon into pieces, cover and chill.

To puree

Pour the oat drink, matcha and syrup into a blender. Add the chilled melon pieces, puree. Divide the frozen melon balls between the glasses, pour in the matcha latte.
