Grilled curry sausage
Ingredients
for 4 people
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| 300 g | pineapple chunks, cut into pieces |
| 1 | onion, coarsely chopped |
| 1 tbsp | tomato puree |
| 2 tbsp | Madras curry powder |
| ½ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
| 1 dl | water |
| 4 | veal bratwurst |
How it's done
Sauce
Heat the oil in a pan. Add the pineapple and onion, sauté for approx. 5 mins. Add the tomato puree and curry powder, cook briefly, season. Pour in the water, bring to the boil, simmer over a low heat for approx. 5 mins. until soft. Puree the sauce.
Charcoal/gas/electric grill
With the lid down, grill the sausages over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C) for approx. 15 mins., turning occasionally. Serve with the sauce.
