Grape and cheese balls

There’s a whole grape in here, coated in fresh goat’s cheese and nuts, herbs or spices. A fruity, fresh delight to eat with your aperitif. Quick to make and easy to adapt to your tastes. Wonderful with a piece of fresh, white bread.

Ingredients

for 22 pieces

Nuts
40 g walnut kernels, finely chopped
Balls
100 g cream cheese, plain or soft goat's cheese
100 g semi-hard cheese, finely grated
  salt and pepper to taste
130 g blue and white seedless grapes (approx. 22 pieces)

How it's done

Nuts

Dry-roast the nuts in a non-stick frying pan for approx. 2 mins, stirring constantly. Transfer the nuts to a plate, leave to cool.

Balls

Mix the cream cheese with the cheese, season. Carefully wrap the grapes in the cheese, roll in walnuts. Cover and chill the little balls for approx. 30 mins.
