Pretzel croissant with figs
Ingredients
for 4 people
150 g | bacon strips |
1 tbsp | sugar |
150 g | soft goats' cheese (e.g. Chavroux) |
125 g | plain organic cream cheese |
1 | spring onion incl. green part, cut into thin rings |
1 | red chilli pepper, deseeded, finely chopped |
4 | pretzel croissant |
4 | figs, thinly sliced |
2 tbsp | balsamic vinegar with figs |
How it's done
Bacon
Without adding any oil, fry the bacon in a non-stick frying pan for approx. 2 mins., turn. Sprinkle with sugar, fry until crispy. Remove the bacon, drain on kitchen paper.
Fill the croissant
Mix the soft goats' cheese, cream cheese, spring onion and chill pepper. Cut open the croissant. Spread a little cream cheese over the bottom half of the croissant. Add the figs and bacon, top with the remainder of the cream cheese. Drizzle with the balsamic, cover with the top half of the croissant.
