Feta bites
Ingredients
for 12 pieces
| ½ parcel | strudel pastry (approx. 60 g) |
| 1 ½ tbsp | olive oil |
| 180 g | feta, cut into approx. 2 cm cubes |
| 1 tbsp | liquid honey |
| 1 tbsp | black sesame seeds, roasted |
| 12 | toothpicks |
How it's done
Parcels
Carefully unfold the pastry sheets, cut lengthwise into thirds and then halve the pastry crosswise (12 strips in total). Brush the strips of pastry with a little oil. Place 1 cube of feta in the middle at the edge of each strip of pastry (narrow end), fold the edges over the top, roll up the pastry from the narrow end. Place the parcels on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with the remainder of the oil.
Bake
Approx. 10 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200 °C. Remove.
Serve
Drizzle the parcels with honey, sprinkle with sesame seeds, insert toothpicks into the feta bites, serve.
