Garlic bread with tomatoes
Ingredients
for 4 person
½ | garlic |
2 sprig | basil |
200 g | cherry tomatoes |
300 g | bread, cut into slices |
30 g | butter |
1 tbsp | jam (e.g. apricot jam) |
½ tsp | sea salt |
a little | pepper |
How it's done
Garlic
Wrap the garlic and basil in foil. Place the wrapped garlic and the tomatoes on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake
Approx. 20 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 220 °C. Add the slices of bread, bake for a further 10 mins. Remove from the oven, squeeze the garlic cloves out of their skin and into a blender.
Serve
Add the butter to the garlic, puree. Spread the garlic butter and jam over the bread, season. Top with the tomatoes.
