Peanut butter flapjacks
Ingredients
for 25 pieces
75 g | peanut butter (crunchy) |
100 g | strawberry jam |
50 g | butter |
¼ tsp | salt |
200 g | rolled oats |
100 g | dark chocolate, coarsely chopped |
75 g | peanut butter (crunchy) |
100 g | strawberry jam |
How it's done
Flapjack mixture
Place the peanut butter in a pan along with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt. Heat through, stirring occasionally until the mixture has melted. Remove the pan from the heat. Mix in the oats, then mix in the chocolate, transfer the mixture to the prepared tin and press down gently.
To bake
Approx. 25 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180 °C. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, remove from the tin. Spread the peanut butter and jam over the top, cut into approx. 25 squares.
