Baked red chicory

Ingredients

for 4 person

Chicory
2 tbsp olive oil
garlic clove, squeezed
4 sprig marjoram, finely chopped
½ tbsp liquid honey
½ tsp salt
a little  pepper
400 g red chicory, stalk cut lengthwise into quarters
red onion, cut into rings
To serve
40 g walnut kernels, roasted, coarsely chopped
100 g blue cheese, cut into pieces
1 tbsp olive oil
organic orange, use a little grated zest and 1 tbsp of juice
1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
3 sprig marjoram, finely chopped
1 tsp liquid honey
  salt and pepper to taste

How it's done

Chicory

Whisk the oil, garlic, marjoram and honey in a bowl, season. Add the chicory and onion, mix, transfer to the prepared dish.

To bake

Approx. 10 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200 °C. Remove from the oven, plate up the chicory.

To serve

Top with the nuts and cheese. Combine the oil with the remaining ingredients, drizzle on top.
