Squash and cured ham bites
Ingredients
for 16 pieces
| 300 g | squash (e.g. Butternut, in approx. 2 cm large cubes) |
| ½ tbsp | olive oil |
| ¼ tsp | gingerbread spice |
| ¼ tsp | chilli flakes |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| 90 g | cured ham in slices, cut in half crosswise |
| 16 | toothpicks |
How it's done
Squash
In a bowl, mix the squash with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt. Spread onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
To bake
Approx. 20 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 200 °C. Remove from the oven, leave to cool.
To serve
Fold up the cured ham, thread onto the toothpicks with the squash.
