Sun-dried tomato and cinnamon hummus
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 200 g | pita breads, cut into triangles |
| 2 tbsp | olive oil |
| 1 | garlic clove, squeezed |
| ¼ tsp | cinnamon |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| 1 tin | chickpeas (approx. 240 g), rinsed and drained |
| 100 g | dried tomatoes in oil, drained |
| ¾ dl | water |
| 3 tbsp | tahini (sesame paste) |
| 2 tbsp | olive oil |
| 1 tsp | cinnamon |
| ½ tsp | salt |
How it's done
Pita chips
Mix the bread, oil, garlic, cinnamon and salt on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
To bake
Approx. 15 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200°C.
Hummus
Place the chickpeas in a measuring cup along with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt, puree. Transfer the hummus to a bowl, serve with the pita chips.
