Gorgonzola and plums wrapped in bacon
Ingredients
for 12 pieces
| 12 | plums, halved, pitted |
| 120 g | blue cheese (e.g. Gorgonzola), cut into 12 pieces |
| 12 slice | bacon |
| clarified butter |
How it's done
To fill the plums
Fill 12 plum halves with Gorgonzola, place the remaining plum halves on top, press together gently. Wrap the plums in the bacon.
To fry the plums
Heat a little clarified butter in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the plums in batches for approx. 4 mins. all over, drain on kitchen paper. Insert toothpicks into the plums and serve.
