Spanish tomato toast
Ingredients
for 4 person
1 | baguette, cut in half lengthwise and crosswise |
2 | garlic cloves, cut in half |
2 | vine-ripened tomatoes, finely grated |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
a little | sea salt |
How it's done
Bread
Toast the pieces of baguette in a frying pan (without oil) for approx. 2 mins. on each side. Rub garlic into the cut surfaces of the bread.
To serve
Place the tomatoes in a sieve, drain the juice. Arrange the tomatoes on top of the pieces of baguette. Drizzle with oil, season with salt. Cut the baguettes into pieces approx. 7 cm wide.
