Aperitif stars
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 1 | red onion, very thinly sliced |
| 2 tbsp | dried cranberries, finely chopped |
| 3 tbsp | white wine vinegar |
| 1 | puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle (approx. 25 x 42 cm) |
| 1 | egg, beaten |
| 150 g | Camembert, thinly sliced |
| ½ tsp | sea salt |
| a little | pepper |
How it's done
Topping
Mix the onion, cranberries and vinegar, leave to absorb for approx. 5 mins.
Stars
Roll out the puff pastry along with the baking paper on a baking tray. Cut out stars of different sizes from the puff pastry, brush with egg. Place a slice of cheese on each star. Add the topping, season.
To bake
Approx. 12 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 220°C. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly on a cooling rack.
