Herbal tea gimlet
Ingredients
for 1 glass
5 dl | water |
1 bag | verbena tea |
1 bag | green tea |
¼ bunch | thyme, torn into pieces |
2 sprig | rosemary, torn into pieces |
2 sprig | sage, torn into pieces |
2 tbsp | sugar |
6 cl | gin |
2 cl | Rose's Lime |
some | ice cubes |
1 | organic lime, in slices |
1 sprig | thyme |
How it's done
Herbal tea
Bring the water to the boil in a pan. Add the tea bags, herbs and sugar, remove the pan from the heat, cover and leave to steep for approx. 15 mins. Strain the tea and leave to cool.
Cocktail
Pour the gin, Rose's Lime and 50 ml of herbal tea into the shaker, top up with ice cubes, shake well for approx. 30 secs. Pour the cocktail through a fine sieve into a glass. Garnish the cocktail with a slice of lime and a sprig of thyme.
