Grilled fennel

Ingredients

for 4 person

Dressing
2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
½  organic lemon, grated zest and the juice
3 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
a little  pepper
Fennel
fennel (approx. 600 g), cut lengthwise into approx. 4 mm slices
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp salt
Charcoal/gas/electric grill
¼ tsp sea salt
50 g Parmesan, shaved into thin strips using a peeler

How it's done

Dressing

Combine the balsamic, lemon zest and juice with the oil, season.

Fennel

Mix the fennel with the oil, season with salt.

Charcoal/gas/electric grill

With the lid down, grill the fennel over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 5 mins. on each side. Plate up the fennel, season with salt. Drizzle with the dressing, sprinkle the cheese on top.
