Grilled fennel
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 2 tbsp | white balsamic vinegar |
| ½ | organic lemon, grated zest and the juice |
| 3 tbsp | olive oil |
| ½ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
| 3 | fennel (approx. 600 g), cut lengthwise into approx. 4 mm slices |
| 2 tbsp | olive oil |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| ¼ tsp | sea salt |
| 50 g | Parmesan, shaved into thin strips using a peeler |
How it's done
Dressing
Combine the balsamic, lemon zest and juice with the oil, season.
Fennel
Mix the fennel with the oil, season with salt.
Charcoal/gas/electric grill
With the lid down, grill the fennel over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 5 mins. on each side. Plate up the fennel, season with salt. Drizzle with the dressing, sprinkle the cheese on top.
