Ingredients

for 1 person

Cocktail
5 cl Aperol (bitter fruit liqueur)
4 cl grapefruit juice
1 cl orange syrup (e.g. Monin Sirup Orange Spritz)
1 sprig thyme, crushed
2 drop Angostura Bitter
some  ice cubes
To serve
1 dl Prosecco (e.g. Carpenè Malvolti Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG)
1 sprig thyme
grapefruit, cut into wedges

How it's done

Cocktail

Pour the aperol into the shaker along with all the other ingredients up to and including the Angostura, top up with ice cubes, shake well for approx. 30 secs. Fill a wine glass with ice cubes, pour the cocktail into the glass through the strainer and a fine sieve.

To serve

Pour in the prosecco, stir briefly, decorate the cocktail with thyme and a slice of grapefruit.
