Mini pizza with shallots

You can’t go wrong with pizza! And that’s why I'm always on the lookout for new recipes. This time, I've gone for a canapé option. These mini pizzas can be made in a flash using ready-made pizza dough. Simply top with burrata and lemons for extra freshness.

Ingredients

for 12 pieces

Mini pizzas
pizza dough (approx. 800 g)
100 g crème fraîche
¼ tsp salt
a little  pepper
shallots, cut into strips
Toppings
150 g burrata, torn into pieces
organic lemon, use grated zest
20 g cress
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp sea salt

How it's done

Mini pizzas

Divide the dough into approx. 12 portions, shape into balls, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, flatten a little. Season the crème fraîche, spread on top of the pizza bases along with the shallots.

To bake

Approx. 12 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 220°C. Remove the mini pizzas from the oven.

Toppings

Top the mini pizzas with the burrata, lemon zest and cress, drizzle with oil, sprinkle with fleur de sel.
