Ingredients

oil for deep-frying | |
1 | plantain, cut diagonally into approx. 1 cm slices |
½ tsp | sea salt |
How it's done
Plantain
Fill a pot to ⅓ with oil and heat it to approx. 180°C. Deep fry the plantain for approx. 2 mins. per batch. Remove, place on a chopping board and flatten with a second board. Return to the hot oil and fry for approx. 2 mins. per batch, remove with a slotted spoon, drain on kitchen paper, season with salt.
