Cheese and Mostbröckli croissants
Ingredients
for 18 pieces
1 | puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle (approx. 320 g) |
90 g | Mostbröckli (beef sausage) |
100 g | mountain cheese (e.g. Le Maréchal), cut into sticks |
3 tbsp | smoked almonds, coarsely chopped |
1 | egg, beaten |
How it's done
To shape the croissants
Roll out the dough, halve the dough lengthwise, cut into approx. 18 triangles. Top with the Mostbröckli, cheese and almonds. Roll the triangles in towards the pointed end. Place the croissants on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with egg.
To bake
Approx. 20 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 200°C.
