Raclette strudel bites
Ingredients
for 12 pieces
| 12 slice | raclette cheese (approx. 400 g), halved diagonally |
| 12 | soft dried apricot, halved |
| 100 g | Mostbröckli (beef sausage) |
| 1 parcel | strudel pastry (approx. 120 g) |
| 50 g | butter, melted, cooled |
| 1 tsp | caraway seeds |
How it's done
Parcels
Top 12 slices of cheese with 2 dried apricots each. Cover with the remainder of the cheese and wrap each in 2 slices of Mostbröckli. Carefully unfold the pastry sheets, cut each lengthwise into thirds (12 strips in total). Brush the strips of pastry with a little butter, place one cheese parcel in the corner of each, fold several times. Place the bites on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with a little butter, sprinkle with caraway seeds. Repeat the process with the remaining strips of pastry.
To bake
Approx. 10 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 220°C. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly and serve warm.
