Apple and pear crisps

Ingredients

for 100 g

Syrup
1 dl water
100 g sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
Crisps
sour apple (e.g. Boskoop), cut into approx. 2 mm slices
pear, cut into approx. 2 mm slices
2 tbsp lemon juice

How it's done

Syrup

Bring the water, sugar and cinnamon to the boil, allow the syrup to cool slightly.

Crisps

Mix the apple and pear with the lemon juice, toss in the syrup, allow the excess to drip off, place on two baking trays lined with baking paper.

To dry

Approx. 2 hrs. in the centre of an oven preheated to 100°C, turning twice. Remove from the oven, transfer to a cooling rack with the baking paper and leave to cool.
