Spätzli with chestnuts
Ingredients
for 2 person
1 tbsp | olive oil |
1 | leek, cut into thin rings |
200 g | frozen peeled chestnut defrosted, roughly chopped |
¼ tsp | salt |
300 g | spätzle egg noodles |
4 tbsp | water |
80 g | grated Gruyère |
a little | pepper |
How it's done
Heat the oil in a wide frying pan. Add the leek, sauté for approx. 2 mins., add the chestnuts and cook for approx. 3 mins., season with salt. Mix in the spätzli, fry for approx. 5 mins. Stir in the water and cheese, season.
