Spätzli with chestnuts

Ingredients

for 2 person

1 tbsp olive oil
leek, cut into thin rings
200 g frozen peeled chestnut defrosted, roughly chopped
¼ tsp salt
300 g spätzle egg noodles
4 tbsp water
80 g grated Gruyère
a little  pepper

How it's done

Heat the oil in a wide frying pan. Add the leek, sauté for approx. 2 mins., add the chestnuts and cook for approx. 3 mins., season with salt. Mix in the spätzli, fry for approx. 5 mins. Stir in the water and cheese, season.
