Strawberry crostini
Ingredients
for 4 pieces
| 400 g | strawberry, cut into approx. 5 mm slices |
| 1 tbsp | thyme leaf |
| 1 tbsp | icing sugar |
| ¼ tsp | sea salt |
| a little | pepper |
| 4 | bread slice |
| 100 g | soft goats' cheese |
| 30 g | hazelnut, coarsely chopped, toasted |
| ½ tbsp | thyme leaf |
How it's done
Roasted strawberries
Spread the strawberries and thyme leaves on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Dust with icing sugar, season.
To bake
Approx. 1 hr. in an oven preheated to 120 °C (convection). Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly. Turn the oven temperature up to 200°C.
Crostini
Place the slices of bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Toast in the centre of the preheated oven for 3 mins. until golden brown. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly. Spread with cheese, top with the strawberries, sprinkle with the nuts and thyme.
