Prawn hot dog
Ingredients
for 4 pieces
1 | avocado, halved |
300 g | peeled raw prawn tails (organic), halved lengthwise |
¼ tsp | salt |
a little | pepper |
4 | baguettes (approx. 100 g each) |
2 tbsp | sweet chilli sauce |
1 | spring onion incl. green part, cut into rings |
1 tbsp | fried onions |
How it's done
Grilled avocado
Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Allow the avocado to cool, peel and cut into slices.
Grilled Prawns
Grill the prawns over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C for approx. 4 mins. on each side, season.
Topping
Cut open the baguettes lengthwise but do not slice all the way through. Fill the baguettes with the sweet chilli sauce and sliced avocado. Add the prawns and spring onions, top with the fried onions.
