Grilled Cuban sandwich
Ingredients
for 4 pieces
| 8 slice | bread (e.g. ruchbrot) |
| 140 g | boiled pork in slices |
| 140 g | ham |
| 1 tbsp | honey |
| 150 g | Cheddar, finely sliced |
| 8 piece | gherkins, in slices |
| 1 tbsp | oil |
How it's done
Sandwiches
Place the pork and ham on 4 slices of bread, drizzle with honey. Top with the cheddar and gherkins. Place the remaining slices of bread on top.
To grill the peaches
Brush both sides of the sandwiches with oil. Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue: Cover and grill the sandwiches over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C for approx. 4 mins. on each side.
