Grilled Cuban sandwich

Ingredients

for 4 pieces

Sandwiches
8 slice bread (e.g. ruchbrot)
140 g boiled pork in slices
140 g ham
1 tbsp honey
150 g Cheddar, finely sliced
8 piece gherkins, in slices
To grill the peaches
1 tbsp oil

How it's done

Sandwiches

Place the pork and ham on 4 slices of bread, drizzle with honey. Top with the cheddar and gherkins. Place the remaining slices of bread on top.

To grill the peaches

Brush both sides of the sandwiches with oil. Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue: Cover and grill the sandwiches over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C for approx. 4 mins. on each side.
