Beetroot pralines with macadamia nuts
Ingredients
for 20 pieces
150 g | boiled beets, diced |
2 ½ tbsp | cane sugar |
1 tbsp | water |
50 g | pitted prunes, finely chopped |
300 g | macadamia nuts, finely chopped |
How it's done
Puree the beetroot, sugar and water in a pan, bring to the boil and then simmer for approx. 3 mins. while stirring. Add the plums, continue to simmer for approx. 5 mins., leave to cool. Combine the mixture with 200 g of the nuts. With wet hands, shape 20 balls and roll them in the remaining nuts.
