Bruschetta
Ingredients
for 4 people
300 g | tomatoes, cut into cubes |
1 | shallot, finely chopped |
1 ½ tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
½ tsp | salt |
a little | pepper |
200 g | baguettes , cut diagonally into approx. 1 cm slices |
2 | garlic cloves, cut in half |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
2 sprig | basil, leaves torn off |
How it's done
Tomatoes
Mix the tomatoes, shallot and balsamic, season.
Baguettes
Place the slices of bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
To bake
Approx. 10 mins. in the upper half of an oven preheated to 220°C. Remove.
Bruschetta
Rub the bread with the garlic, drizzle with oil.
Arrange the tomatoes on the bread, garnish with basil and serve immediately.
