Honey-crusted pork cutlets
Ingredients
for 4 person
4 slice | day-old half-white bread (approx. 100 g), cut into cubes |
1 bunch | parsley, finely chopped |
2 tbsp | liquid honey |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
¼ tsp | salt |
a little | pepper |
4 | pork cutlets (each approx. 100 g) |
¼ tsp | salt |
a little | pepper |
1 tsp | peanut oil |
How it's done
To make the honey crust, combine the bread with all the ingredients up to and including the olive oil, season.
Season the cutlets on one side, spread 1/4 of the crust mixture on the other side, press on. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Brown the cutlets, crust side down, for approx. 3 mins. over a medium heat, turn and finish cooking for approx. 7 mins.
